Can’t wait to see Kelly Fastuca at MICF in “I need an Adult”

This weekend I’ll be heading down to Melbourne for the International Comedy Festival, MICF2015. I’m catching the last weekend of the festival and i’ve locked in a few amazing shows to see including the fabulous Kelly Fastuca!

I first met Kelly Fastuca in New York City at a stand-up night. She rocked the mic, and I even got up and did a few minutes myself. It was a blast and I loved Kelly’s style. It’s very exciting therefore to see her doing an awesome new show at MICF this year in Melbourne.

Here’s a bit more about the show:

Five years ago, Kelly was a rising star in the Melbourne Comedy scene when she won the American Green Card Lottery, packed up everything and moved to New York City.

Not knowing a soul and with a small amount of cash, she has somehow survived two hurricanes, a polar vortex, a blizzard, and some choice moments of strangers trying to wee on her. Starting a new life in a tough city, she needed an adult to get her out of bad situations. Or someone to just make her a sandwich.

Always relatable, always funny, ‘I Need an Adult’ is her Australian return to the festival circuit.

Known around the US for her work on podcast’s and radio, she is a regular on Robert Kelly’s cult following ‘You Know What Dude’ Podcast, and has also been a guest ‘Opie and Anthony.’ Her podcast ‘Get your hand off it’ is available for free on itunes.

Imaan Hadchiti in Comedy Show: Evolution of Imaan

Sydney Comedy Festival is on again and I’m very much looking forward to seeing a very funny man there, Imaan Hadchiti in his show – Evolution of Imaan. Also proud to be working with Imaan on his social media and promotional campaign in the lead up to this event.

See below his press release and information for the show. Sydney this is not one to miss.

 Imaan Hadchiti

Imaan Hadchiti. Standing tall at just 3.4 ft,  Imaan’s not ‘bigging’ himself up when he says he’s breaking new comedy ground with his disarmingly cheeky premier of EVOLUTION OF iMaAN at The Factory Theatre @ The Matchbox this Sydney Comedy Festival

EVOLUTION OF iMaAN is a stand-up/Storytelling show in which Imaan unravels and figures out why he entered the Stand-up comedy world at the age of 15. Imaan made his TV debut on Australia’s National The NRL Football Show 2007, as the youngest stand up comedian to ever perform on the show, and has since become a household name, appearing in the Comedy TV Series Wilfred and Australia’s Balls Of Steel. Season 1 and 2

After a successful run in the Edinburgh Fringe festival, with 8 years of stand up comedy under his belt and sold out shows in the Adelaide Fringe and Melbourne Comedy Festivals Imaan finally comes to Sydney for hisSydney Comedy Festival debut with his most honest show yet, candidly exploring his constant efforts to be seen as a Comedian first and a short-person second. Sharing stories of actually remembering his first steps as a child, to his first steps on stage.  Recalling stories of performing inFreakshows to his now successful Solo shows.

Born a curiosity Imaan has always gotten attention whether he wanted it or not, Imaan uses his unrivalled passion for stand-up  to deal with people’signorance and to have a say in the kind of attention he gets.

Imaan’s composure, with his ability to identify, empathise and challenge standard beliefs, has granted him a unique place in the world of stand-up.
