Are you eating the frog?

I'm eating the frog! What does that mean? It means doing the biggest, toughest and most procrastinated tasks first. Read on to find out how!

I’ve been practising what I preach today and putting myself forward.

I’m eating the frog!

What does that mean?

It means doing the biggest, toughest, most procrastinated tasks first! Sometimes a task isn’t even that big and daunting, but the longer we put it off – the bigger it gets!

Proactively seeking opportunities to be featured has been on my list. Writing articles for other businesses, being a guest on podcasts and getting the opportunity to speak. How are these things going to happen? If I actively ask for them.

Recently in a training workshop with my Lovelly Brand Builders, I shared that sometimes putting yourself forward isn’t about the most visible stuff such as speaking on a stage, doing live videos or being featured in the media. Sometimes it’s simply saying “hey, did you know I offer the service you’re seeking?

When was the last time you put your hand up and said “pick me”?

Have you followed up with some of your open leads or possible clients this week?

Do you really want to be a guest on a podcast? Why not ask!

Ask and you shall receive.

Eating the frog for me is about doing those tasks that are going to move my business and profile forward, but that I often leave til the end of the to do list.

Write back and tell me how you’re going to eat the frog next week!
