You are everywhere!

Hello lovely,

I was recently at lunch and got the comment as I arrived “you are everywhere woman!”

It was my third networking event for the week, this was true. But she was also referring to my very visible online presence.

That week I was in Sydney – with a client, at a networking event and visiting family.

Out for an evening helping a local committee get some events off the ground, an organisation I’ve been a member of for 6 years.

And then at Byron Bay at the fabulous Farm, Three Ducks restaurant, meeting some new women from the Gold Coast to Byron area as arranged by photographer Prue Aja.

But why not?

If you invite me, or there’s an opportunity, I’m going to make it happen.

I of course then share about these experiences on my social media channels. So if you don’t see me in person at an event, you may well see the replay and summary on my socials.

Of course there’s a lot of behind the scenes that happens in order for it to appear that I am “everywhere”. I don’t have a magical teleporter to allow me to pop up everywhere, as many would have you believe. And of course it comes with choices – I have to choose where to spend my time and energy. But I get to have these experiences and I have a support network, my lovely husband and our fantastic child care centre, which allows me to be and out about seeing people, visiting places and doing what lights me up – networking!

So why do I go to so many events (in the real world and online)?

Because I know that I am my best business card. I know that I make an impact with my presence – to get a comment like this, I would have to. I know that I’m the best person to be speaking about me and that when I show up, I get the benefits of the interactions and the opportunities that come with that.

So tell me, are you choosing to put yourself in the right rooms?

You don’t have to be everywhere, but it would be to your greatest benefit to start showing up somewhere. Online or out in the real world! Both are so beneficial and they work hand in hand. Also, you could have a lot of fun!

Where are you going to show up next?

Cheers
