There is so much happening in the entertainment world at the moment and we are happy to be right in the thick of it. One of our favourite Canadian musicians, Andy Brown is heading back to Australia to tour in October. Hitting some of the big music festivals and touring with a wonderful musician, Damien Leith. Make sure to see this show and hopefully you’ll fall in love with the album just as we have.

Album Tinman instore now

Canadian folk-rock artist Andy Brown will return to our shores this October through to December to showcase his new album Tinman, joining Damien Leith on tour alongside performances at the Sydney Blues & Roots Festival.  He began his Australian journey debuting at Woodford Folk Festival in January 2013, receiving an enthusiastic response to his heartfelt, engaging songs and stunning rock tinged melodies.

Andy has emerged as a must-see performer on the Canadian and international music scene, performing alongside some of Canada’s finest – The Trews, Hey Rosetta, Hawksley Workman and more. In his home country, his music has been featured on NBC, CTV, Global TV, Showcase, and CBC. As a three-time International Songwriting Competition Finalist (2010, 2011, 2012, Folk/Singer-Songwriter Category), and a finalist in both the 2013 UK Songwriting Contest and 2013 Unsigned Only Music Competition (for Tinman’s title track), Brown is an artist who’s songwriting has won over fans in droves since his 2009 debut, False Alarm.

Andy Brown Press Shot 2013

Andy and Damien formed a strong connection earlier this year; from the outset it was evident that they share a similar emotional depth, and an admiration of each other’s craft brought them together for a musical collaboration.  The result was a selection of songs that explore the complexities of loss, betrayal, forgiveness, hope and love. Two co-writes, See You Again and Never Forget, are featured on Damien’s new album Chapter Seven.

Andy’s raw vocals, outstanding guitar skills, and riveting live performances have ensured a passionate and loyal fanbase.  Touted as a performer that ‘gets into your head and heart’, Andy Brown’s folk-rock style takes you on a lyrical journey that transcends the realms of love, happiness, and sorrow. This forthcoming Australian tour will see the release of Tinman’s first single, You Wear Me Out, a track from his new album Tinman – check out a live performance here:
