What is an integrated marketing communications campaign?


Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) is an approach to brand communications where the different modes work together to create a seamless experience for the customer and are presented with a similar tone and style that reinforces the brand’s core message.

So when it comes to Social Media –simply think of this as another mode of communication or channel to connect to your customer. It does not wipe out print ads, it doesn’t wipe out TV, and radio can still exist – BUT they must work together. This isn’t an either/ or situation anymore-  as we move forward, Social Media must become part of your Integrated Marketing communications.
